Guided Cycles was created to transform our way of relating to Death. Death is often a taboo visitor in our lives that we often deny or don’t prepare for until the final moments that Death arrives. However, in West and Central African societies, it was traditionally a great honor, and those who were respected and received well in Life were expected to be remembered and honored in Death.

Through dedicated assistance with the many stages of Death via End-of-Life Planning, Bedside Vigils, Grief Facilitation, and Family Legacy Crafting guidance that are customized to the unique needs and personal expressions of the individual, I aim to ensure that the light of a person’s life continues to illuminate the world just as brightly after their transition. Guided Cycles also seeks to provide comfort and assistance for the loved ones as they tend to their holistic needs through curated Grief Support.

Guided Cycles is based in southwest Georgia (U.S), and I physically support may clients statewide, but services are available to serve clients worldwide through virtual consultations, travel, and educational opportunities.

As the founder of Guided Cycles, Victoria is committed to the support of those entering through the dying process and their families. She is currently working on several educational projects that focus on Black Deathwork and Autistic Deathwork.

Also, to continue elevating awareness about Black Death culture and its education, rituals, and practices, Victoria has established The Black Deathkeeper Society, for those Death professionals of African descent to preserve, build, and explore on Black Death Justice work in our Communities.

Victoria is not only trained as a Deathkeeper and Grief Guide, but also as a Full Spectrum Birthworker, which allows her to help families within the full spectrum of Life & Death. Many of her Birthwork and Womb services can be accessed through her platform, Spiral Birth.

In addition to her Birthwork & Deathwork, Victoria Snowden is trained as a Multi-Style Yoga Teacher, Meditation Teacher, Genealogist, Community Herbalist, Crisis Care Coordinator, and Interfaith Celebrant. These seemingly vastly different roles have all served as particularly vital and have often intersected within her Deathkeeper practice.
